Scottish Spectacular at Ardgowan House

This magnificent, privately owned family home is steeped in history having been owned by the same family for over 600 years. Our private tour, escorted by the house owner, Sir Ludovic Shaw Stewart, 12th Baronet of Greenock & Blackhall takes in sprawling Scottish history, local folklore and social history enlivened with colourful family anecdotes.

We’ll enjoy morning or afternoon high tea with refreshments, assorted sandwiches and traditional home-baking as well as a special bagpipe showcase. Learn more about this most important Scottish musical instrument with a performance, a lesson on practise chanter and a toast to the haggis!
