Alfa Booking Assurance Guarantee
“Alfa Assurance” is included free of charge with all new bookings and is valid for travel on all UK Coach tours or Self Drive breaks staying at any of our Leisureplex hotels.
Alfa Travel said: “Following the media coverage of Coronavirus, customers are understandably looking for reassurance when booking their summer holidays. That’s why, when you make a new booking for a UK Coach Holiday or Self Drive Break departing in 2020 and staying in one of our Leisureplex hotels, your booking will be covered with our ‘Alfa Assurance Guarantee’. We understand and appreciate that some of our guests might be worried about booking or travelling right now, and with our new guarantee, customers can book in confidence knowing they can transfer to another holiday if they decide they want to change their plans due to concerns about the COVID-19 virus.”
What are the details / terms and conditions?
When you book between Monday 9th March 2020 to Thursday 30th April 2020 for any UK Coach or Self Drive holiday currently on sale your booking will be covered with our “Alfa Assurance Guarantee”. You will be able to move 100% of the total payments made to any other UK Coach or Self Drive Break staying in a Leisureplex hotel with us provided your future holiday is taken within 2020.

We also strongly recommend that you take out insurance that covers you in the event of any illness. However, please note that with effect from 17.03.20, our insurance has withdrawn cover in relation to Covid-19 and as such customers will not be able to make a claim under the policy, in the case that they are ill with Covid-19. Cover in all other circumstances remains unchanged.

If you already have a holiday booking with us, please be assured that we continue to regularly check the guidance issued by Public Health England and that we currently have no concerns with travel to any of our holiday destinations.
You still have the option to change or transfer your holiday to another destination or date (subject to availability) for any reason under our booking terms and conditions (charges will apply).
If you wish to cancel when there is no travel advice in place which advises against ‘all but essential travel to the destination’, then normal cancellation terms as per our booking terms and conditions apply.
If the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice changes to ‘advise against all but essential travel to any destination’, then any tours to that destination would be cancelled by us and under our booking terms and conditions, you would have the right to a full refund or transfer to another tour and/or date. There would be no charge for transferring, although any difference in the price of the holiday would be due or refunded as applicable.
If you are unable to travel due to any illness, then normal cancellation terms as per our booking terms and conditions apply. Insurance cover can be added to any booking taken out to cover loss of monies in the case of cancellation of a holiday due to illness.
Please be assured that our Customer and Employee health and wellbeing is of paramount importance to us at Alfa Leisureplex Group and you can rest assured that we are taking all necessary precautions advised by public health and the government and monitoring the news very closely to ensure we take any actions necessary to protect our customers and employees.
