Few resorts anywhere in the world can rival the popularity of Blackpool - Britain's capital of fun! The world famous Tower, three piers, miles of golden sands, the spectacular Pleasure Beach with its breath-taking ‘white knuckle’ rides, atmospheric trams, horse drawn carriages, a Sealife centre, Madame Tussaud’s Waxworks, a Zoo Park, an Art Gallery - Blackpool has them all. Make sure to save some of your energy for the evening and sample the terrific summer shows, lively bars and pubs, for it is at night that Blackpool really stands out as the most exciting of all Britain's resorts.

TOWN CENTRE

Blackpool has a wide selection of shops and an indoor mall in the famous Houndshill shopping centre. Its splendid theatres include the Grand Theatre, the Winter Gardens and the Tower Ballroom which host major international artists, dance festivals and national events. There are cinemas, a Sea Life Centre, the Tower Circus and of course, the Tower.

Blackpool has miles of golden sands, broken only by its three piers. Splendid Stanley Park offers numerous sporting facilities, extensive gardens and a bandstand hosting musical events. Blackpool’s rapidly developing zoo is also well worth a visit.
