YOUR RESORT

Tenby is a uniquely attractive resort. Its pastel coloured buildings, narrow streets, fortified walls and the quality of the light from its shimmering bays give it an atmosphere which is reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Its medieval castle was bombarded into submission by Cromwell using artillery on both land and sea and the feeling of a town whose history is much richer than most seaside resorts is very strong as one ambles around the narrow streets.

TOWN CENTRE

Tenby is a town of narrow streets, small independent shops and a thriving indoor market. Take time for a drink in one of the many bars or cafes. The fifteenth century Tudor Merchants House museum gives an insight into life when it was a busy trading port.

BEACH & GARDENS

Tenby has four magnificent sandy beaches and a delightful harbour which is always busy with pleasure craft and the regular ferries which serve nearby Caldey Island. The gardens on the headland around the castle offer fabulous views and are ideal for a picnic.

ACCESSIBILITY

Please note that this hotel has a number of split level corridors and whilst there is a lift in the hotel, this doesn’t access the top floor or all of the bedrooms. Many of the rooms have additional stairs to negotiate (after exiting the lift) to access them. There are also 3 steps at the entrance of the hotel, 4 steps to the quiet lounge and 9 steps to the restaurant. There is no scooter/wheelchair accessible entrance and this hotel isn’t suitable for guests who can’t negotiate at least 10 stairs. It is recommended that passengers with mobility difficulties/disabilities discuss these with our customer care team prior to booking so we can check this hotel will be suitable for you.
