Described by Charles Dickens as "..the finest place in the universe" today Great Yarmouth is East Anglia's top seaside venue. Set on 15 miles of wide, flat golden sand with sunny dry weather and a lively promenade, it offers a huge range of entertainment, sports and shopping. There are two piers, a Model Village, Butterfly Centre and a Sea Life Centre. Stroll along the prom or catch the unique horse-drawn landaus. At night the resort is illuminated and renowned for its live entertainment with a wide variety of shows and concerts.
The main shopping streets, found just off the ancient harbour, offer high street stores and traditional seaside shops; there is excellent variety and quality to keep shoppers happy. There is a large open air market on Fridays.
Great Yarmouth boasts 15 miles of safe golden sands which have won several awards for cleanliness. The attractive Anchor Garden, so called because of its huge anchor shaped flowerbed, and St. Georges Park both provide seating for a quiet moment of rest and relaxation.

Note for clients with a mobility impairment: Access to the main Reception entrance is via 4 steps but there is also a side entrance with ramped access and limited parking for mobility scooters. Bedrooms are on first, second and third floors (there are none on the ground floor). There are two lifts serving most bedrooms but some rooms in the West Wing are accessible only by stairs. Please ensure you submit a special requirements form if you have any mobility difficulties which may affect your holiday.
