Scarborough Festive Weekend

Resort - York Christmas Markets

Overview

Scarborough is arguably the oldest seaside resort in Britain, but Scarborough is much older than its Victorian ambiance suggests - a cursory glance at the headland which divides Scarborough’s two bays reveals the impressive medieval castle. The resort is noted for its theatres and there is an art gallery and several small museums. Scarborough is also the ideal base from which to visit York during traditional St Nicholas Fayre, with its markets, entertainment and festive ambiance.
