Itinerary

Day 1 - Outward Travel

Day 2 - Full Day Kyle Line

  • One of Michael Palin’s ‘Great Railway Journeys’ and one of the most scenic railways in the world, the Kyle Line travels from coast to coast crossing the majestic scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Commencing our journey in Dingwall, keep an eye out for Ben Wyvis – a huge isolated mountain to the north, before the route crosses the wild mountainscapes and passing beautiful lochs. On the last stretch into the Kyle of Lochalsh, the views of the Isle of Skye are spectacular. We’ll return to Strathpeffer by coach.

Day 3 - Full Day Far North & John O'Groats

  • Today we venture into Scotland’s far north – a land of empty landscapes, white beaches and dramatic coastlines. We’ll make away along the coast to John O’Groats, the iconic ‘end of the road’ – admire the spectacular scenery and maybe have your picture taken at the famous sign!

Day 4 - Half Day Inverness

  • Discover the ‘capital’ of the Highlands as we visit Inverness – a modern and bustling city, situated at the top of the Great Glen.

Day 5 - Return Travel

The Highland Hotel

Perfectly situated in a peaceful glen just to the north of the Cairngorms National Park, the Highland Hotel boasts stunning original features and has its own attractive gardens. This hotel has everything you need for the perfect relaxing break in the Scottish Highlands.

Reliable Coaches

Most of our holidays are operated by our own fleet of mostly modern Mercedes luxury coaches, all of which have an on board washroom and are air conditioned. We also work with selected third party coach operators who supplement our own fleet during peak periods. The facilities on third party coaches can vary, but the majority have air conditioning. We are members of the Confederation of Passenger Transport and the Coach Tourism Association – bodies established to encourage standards of excellence in our industry.
