There are many different opportunities at Alfa Leisureplex, from office-based positions at our Head Office in Chorley, Lancashire, to hotel staff roles across our 21 Leisureplex Hotels, to working as part of our Traffic Operations team, in Customer Care or as one of our valued Coach Drivers. Our 21 hotels each have a small core of permanent management staff who recruit, train and manage over 400 seasonal employees each year. Many of our seasonal staff are recruited locally to the hotels, and in addition many of our hotels can provide on-site staff accommodation, meaning that a number of staff join us from further afield, many from overseas. Our hotels are situated in the UK’s most popular resorts, across Cornwall, Somerset & Devon, the South East, Wales, Northern England and Scotland.

Our Head Office is situated in Euxton near Chorley in Lancashire, where we employ staff in Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and other support functions such as Accounts and IT. Staff turnover at Chorley is very low, but we are always interested to hear from people who would be interested in working for us (full or part time). Group Sales Executive – Alfa Groups

Location: Head Office, Euxton, Chorley

Salary: c£19k – £23k p.a.

Hours: 37.5 per week

About the Job

Due to our continued growth, a vacancy has arisen for a Group Sales Executive who will manage all aspects of Alfa Groups Sales based at our head office in Euxton, Chorley. Working as part of a team of 4 you will report directly to the Group Sales Manager whilst have line management responsibility for the Alfa Groups Sales Co-ordinator.

The focus of your role will be to proactively expand our customer base through your ability to sell whilst maintaining lasting relationships with our existing customers. You will be expected to come up with innovative ways of attracting customers and achieving sales targets through outbound calls, creation of customer lists and meeting/presenting to perspective customers with a focus on email marketing.

Understanding the business including the product that we offer and customers we attract will be important within your first few weeks.

Having a full UK driving licence and access to your own means of transport will be essential for this role.

Interviews have provisionally been scheduled for W/C 4th December 2015 with a view to start the role toward the latter part of January 2016.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a dynamic sales person with a proven track record of meeting existing sales targets whilst acquiring new business. You will be comfortable in business to customer sales and be confident in your ability to sell via the telephone and face to face. Being educated to degree level or equivalent and having supervisory skills would be desirable qualities, however not essential. Building long lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders within the business will be vital to the role.

Our transport operations are very diverse and we employ coach drivers, interchange staff and schedulers based in the North West (Preston/Chorley), North East (Bowburn), Midlands (Tamworth) and South East (Reading area) of England.

Coach Tour Drivers

We have several vacancies for North West, South East and Midlands based drivers to work on British holidays for the 2015 season. We offer an attractive salary package which includes performance bonus payments, holiday concessions and opportunities for additional earnings. We also have vacancies for part time coach drivers to work from our depot in the village of Higher Wheelton, between Chorley and Blackburn.

You will be engaged on private hire work, feeders for our tour programme and holiday tours.
