Brighton International Festival
For three weeks in May Brighton plays host to one of England’s most exciting arts festivals.

Brighton Food & Drink Festival
is held twice each year – over Easter and for ten days in September. The region’s finest restaurants, bars and food outlets participate in a wide range of events.
Brighton Kite Festival
takes place in July and features many weird and wonderful creations.
Historic Commercial Vehicle Run
is held annually in May with over 200 vintage commercial vehicles taking to the roads in this historic run.
Brighton Sand Sculpture Festival
From April to September, visitors can experience the wonder of sand sculpture with an exhibition of pieces created by world class artists at Black Rock. Sand sculpture workshops, live demonstrations, guided tours, unique photo opportunities, a children’s sand pit, café and much more will be on offer.
takes place in August, with a host of free events to suit all ages. Activities include dog shows, arts and crafts, street theatre, healing area, circus skills demonstrations and food and beer tents.
Special events are staged throughout the year, including spring ‘Bluebell’ specials and a ‘Vintage Transport’ weekend in August.
