Customer Coronavirus Advice
We are monitoring the news of the continued Coronavirus outbreak very carefully and at this time and there is no advice in place that recommends against travel to any of the destinations currently on sale for our holidays departing in 2020. We continue to monitor this regularly and will update this page and contact customers as necessary should this change.
Customer and Employee Health and Wellbeing
Customer health and wellbeing is of paramount importance to us at Alfa Leisureplex Group and you can rest assured that we are taking all necessary precautions advised by Public Health England and the Government and monitoring the news very closely to ensure we take any actions necessary to protect our customers and employees.
As a precautionary measure we have hand sanitisers available on board our Alfa Coaches and at our Leisureplex hotels and are contacting our selected partners to ask that they provide the same. All of hotels and coaches continue to be thorough cleaned and regularly touched surfaces are being sanitised regularly. Public Health England are recommending that in order to prevent washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water.

New Booking advice
We understand following the media coverage of Coronavirus that customers are looking for reassurance when booking their holidays and that is why “Alfa Assurance” is included free of charge with all new bookings made from Monday 9th March 2020 until Monday 23rd March 2020 providing flexibility should you want to change your plans. Please note that with effect from 17.03.20, our insurance has withdrawn cover in relation to Covid-19 and as such customers will not be able to make a claim under the policy, in the case that they are ill with Covid-19. Cover in all other circumstances remains unchanged
Existing Booking Advice
In response to customer queries with regards to how your holidays may be affected, please find below, some of the frequently asked questions:
What happens if there is government advice issued against travel to my holiday destination?
If the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice changes If the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice or Public Health England changes to advise against all but essential travel to any destination, then any tours to that destination would be cancelled by us and under our booking terms and conditions, you would have the right to a full refund or transfer to another tour and/or date. There would be no charge for transferring, although any difference in the price of the holiday would be due or refunded as applicable.
What happens if I decide I no longer wish to travel?
You have the option to change or transfer your holiday to another destination or date (subject to availability) for any reason under our booking terms and conditions. If you wish to cancel when there is no travel advice in place which advises against all but essential travel to the destination, then normal cancellation terms as per our booking terms and conditions apply.
What happens if I am unable to travel due to illness?
If you are unable to travel due to any illness, then normal cancellation terms as per our booking terms and conditions apply. We strongly recommend that customers take out travel insurance, which provides cover for the loss of monies in the case of cancellation of a holiday due to illness.
