Alfa Travel is proud to welcome their newest edition to the family, Alfa Betty

After many years of holidaying with Alfa Travel, Alfa Betty has excitedly agreed to come on board and be an ambassador for Alfa Travel. Betty will be pointing out the best bargains from the website and giving her top ten holiday destinations. Drawing on her many years of experience our favourite Auntie will be on hand to answer your questions from holiday etiquette to travel and hotel queries.

Betty’s great sense of fun and no nonsense approach made her the ideal candidate for the job and now she has her new wardrobe she is raring to get out there and introduce herself to travel agents and guests alike!

Originating from sunny Chorley in deepest Lancashire, Betty enjoyed her first Alfa tour many moons ago and kept coming to our customer service team’s attention with the many lovely letters and cards that she would send in describing her holidays along with the glowing reports about the hotels and drivers. From her letters we began to find out about her and her love of traditional British food especially a home cooked Sunday roast, her childhood memories of the British seaside and how she met her husband whilst on holiday in Torquay!

Betty has also told us that after a hearty breakfast to set her up for the day there is nothing she loves more than to head down to the beach and take in the sea air whilst enjoying her favourite 99 ice cream. One of Betty’s favourite mottos is “count the pennies so that the pounds look after themselves” and she hopes that her offers and top tips will allow you to do the same. Look out for her in the late availability, groups newsletter and of course Betty’s Bargains amongst other things.

A newcomer to the World Wide Web Betty has soon mastered the likes of Twitter and Facebook and is looking forward to keeping her friends updated with what’s going on in her world.

So once again please give a big warm welcome to our larger than life northern lass.
