Alfa now running 100% Plaxton Coach Fleet

Alfa knows that the key to a good coach holiday begins with the quality of the coach itself. This is why we are proud to continue our close relationship with Plaxton Coachbuilders of Scarborough. Established for over 100 years, the Plaxton name has become a staple of the passenger transport industry in Britain and beyond. All Alfa coaches since 2002 have been hand built here under the watchful eye of our Head of Operations Mr Neil McMurdy.

This year Alfa is continuing to invest in their coach programme with the purchase of another two bespoke Plaxton Paragon Bodied Coaches, fitted with 49 seats, WC and air-conditioning, finished in our famous buttermilk livery.

Research shows that coaches are one of the greenest modes of transport; this hasn’t stopped Alfa from striving to improve their coaches further lowering emissions. Since 2008 all new coaches meet the new Euro 5 specification, the highest specification available for coaches. As a member of Coach Marque for over four years, Alfa is committed to the highest standards of coach operations.
