is Wallingford’s own folk and roots festival. Established 10 years ago, the festival is an enjoyable mix of music, dance, steam train exhibitions and a renowned beer festival.
Wallingford Food Festival
takes place in May; the object of the festival is to promote the town as one of the key market towns in the region through cookery demonstrations, tastings and a range of stalls.
is held in July and features an exciting programme of events, including food and drink stalls, live music, street theatre and fireworks.
Stoke Row Steam Rally
is held in June with a range of attractions including full size traction engines, pipe bands, morris and clog dancing and food and craft stalls.
takes place in July near Reading and is a celebration of vintage, steam and veteran transport. Attractions include trade stands, animal shows, fun fair and a CAMRA beer festival.
Henley Royal Regatta
is probably the best known regatta in the world and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The Regatta Enclosure is open to the general public, with seating alongside the river to watch the races, as well as an open grandstand, covered restaurant, outdoor dining area and bar.
Henley Town & Visitor’s Regatta
is a free event which takes place in August on the river at Henley with food and drink stalls, boat races and a rare chance to ride on the Umpire Launches used in the world-famous Royal Regatta.
