Echoes of Art Deco Walks
take place regularly in Morecambe and explore the town’s surviving art deco buildings.
Catch The Wind Kite Festival
is held in May, when a magnificent array of kites will be on display as well as music, street performers and activity workshops.
Lancaster Literature Festival
takes place in October and celebrates a diverse range of contemporary literature as novelists, poets and short story writers visit the city to share their work.
Lancaster Music Festival
takes place in October, with over 100 acts in more than 30 venues around the city.
Over 2 days in May days there will be a Food Village, licensed bars and craft and vintage shopping. There will also be fairground attractions and donkey rides (small charge for these but most other attractions are free of charge).
Wray Scarecrow Festival
starts at the end of April and features an innovative collection of scarecrows, a 10k road race and the annual fair on Bank Holiday Monday, with stalls, fairground and side shows.
Open top bus tours
Tours are available throughout the summer months. The Heritage Bus Tour allows travellers to take in the very best of the Morecambe Bay area on board a beautiful vintage open top bus.
