Known as the Gateway to Lincolnshire, the town of Grantham was recently named as one of the best places to live in Britain. Sir Isaac Newton was the most famous pupil of Grantham’s Kings School. More recently, Britain’s first policewoman served here and Britain’s first woman Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher was born in the town.
